Lucky Rabbit's Foot with Bow, Red and Black. (5"x7" int.)

Lucky Rabbit's Foot with Bow, Red and Black. (5"x7" int.)
“The left hind foot of a graveyard rabbit, killed in the dark of the moon.”
As with the old tradition of keeping body parts of hanged criminals as tokens for luck (the more wicked the crime, the more effective the talisman) the Rabbit Foot is an amulet imbued with a similar inverse proportion: the more unlucky the circumstance for the collector and the rabbit, the more luck is embedded in the charmed auspice. This is likely because shapeshifting witches are thought to lurk in graveyards during full moons and Friday the thirteenths. The unlucky harvester may be favoured enough to capture the rear left foot of said shapeshifter.
No rabbits were harmed in the making of these talismans, but it has been a strange year for your maker, dear readers.. Frame is 5”x7” inside measurement (8”x10” outside). Porcelain, glaze, 24k gold lustre, velvet, acrylic bubble in a custom frame.
